Haul time!

So, a lot of this stuff was purchased recently except one thing which is the Eyes, Lips, Face palette which was purchased a couple months ago? I just apparently forgot to blog about it. Soo enjoy!

So basically, I have 3 new palettes (the Lorac and UD I'm trying to hold off until Christmas), an eyeliner, mascara and nail polish.

First is the Eyes, Lips, Face palette. I got this one during one of their sales and I think it was only like $6...no joke (maybe not $6, I don't remember but it was some crazy deal I'm pretty sure was under $10). Shipping made it a little more but yeah it was ridiculous and told me mom I needed to have it.

Next is this beautifulll Urban Decay NYC "Book of Shadows" Vol 3 palette, $40.

It has a cute little New York City pop up that also lights up.

And sixteen beautiful colors! So excited to try these out!!! Also comes with a mini black 24/7 Glide on eyeliner and a mini primer potion.

Last but not least, the newest Lorac 'Pro-palette.' This is raved about all over YouTube and is even said to be better than both of the Urban Decay 'Naked' palettes! $42

It comes with 8-matte shadows on top and 8-shimmery/glittery shadows on the bottom. The best part, this is a palette that could be used day-to-day because they are neutral/everyday shades!

Next is an eyeliner that I think I heard about on YouTube, it's the Eyeko "Skinny, Liquid, Liner" in black, $15 (but I got it for free with my VIB coupon). I swatched this eyeliner when I was in NYC at the Sephora and walked around the store for ten mins (or so) and noticed it didn't smudge so I bought it on impulse. After going back to the apartment and washing my hands before eating it still didn't move. I was sold.

Next is Covergirls "Clump Crusher" mascara, I don't remember the price but I think it was around $6-7, depending on where you go. I love this stuff! I find that it volumizes and lengthens my lashes.

Final thing for today's haul, this holiday collection of Color Clubs nail polishes, $9. I thought these colors were super pretty for the holidays and I love the fact it comes with a top coat that is like the "moon candy." I've been wanting to try that out and cannot wait to use it!

So that is pretty much my haul. It is definitely a lot for me to be buying right now but I'm not very patient...I am trying to hold off from using the first two palettes until Christmas though so that I have something to open...gifts from myself but I'm not sure I can wait a few more weeks! I went to NYC this past weekend and that's when I bought the Lorac palette, I told my bf not to let me buy anymore palettes after that sooo...today when I told him I bought the Urban Decay one, he hold me he was going to send me to rehab for my shopping addiction...:(. In my defense, he knew what he was getting himself into though! :)
Thanks for viewing this post and for the support!

Blue based snowflake nails!! (Winter nails #1)

**Idea taken offline**

Start off with a blue base (China Glaze's "Blue Iguana")

Next, if the blue isn't shiny or sparkly add a top coat that is (China Glaze's "Fairy Dust).

Now for the snowflake, you can use any white color and a thin brush (or toothpick) and just follow the lines in the steps below.

Add a half snowflake towards the end of the nail if you'd like and three dots on either side of the flakes (optional).

And there you have it, accent snowflake nails! :)
Hope you enjoyed!!

Thanksgiving nails...idea from MissJenFABULOUS

Start off with a white base coat (I'm using "Blanc" by Essie)

Take three colors (I'm using orange, red and yellow. You can also use a lighter brown) and alternate, making a fan of feathers going across your nail bed.

Next, with a dark brown (I'm using "Mink Muffs" by Essie) fill in the body of the turkey where the feathers meet.

Using a dotting tool, take white for the eyes, followed by a smaller dot of black for the eyeballs. Lastly take the same orange color (used for the feathers) for a little nose.

For the rest of the nails, make feather designs however you want.

Again, this turkey design was by MissJenFABULOUS on YouTube. Have fun with it and have a great Thanksgiving break!

Step by step on Cow nails! (Requested by a friend)

Every now and then I like to take requests for nail designs from family, friends and co-workers. It wasn't until recently that I realized I needed to make step by step tutorials (seriously?! it took me this long?!). I just figured it would take me so much longer to paint, take a picture then continue the routine until I was done. But enough talk...enjoy these cow nails requested by my friend Fabiola! :)

Start off with a white base coat (1-2 coats)...I'm using one by China Glaze in "White on White." And slightly let dry so the next color does not mix.

Then using a pink color, I'm using another China Glaze polish in "Shocking Pink." fill in the tip of your ring finger (or wherever you want your cow's face to be).

Then using a dotting tool, tooth pick or thin brush, take a black color (I used Essie's "Licorice") and dot the eyes and nose (exuse the poor lighting these first pictures were taken with my camera, next are from my phone).

Then take the brush (or a thin brush) the polish comes with and start making your cow's spots, this part gets a little messy around the edges but you can always use remover to clean that up!

Repeat the spots on all the other nails and there you have it, cute cow nails!!!
(Just want to mention, this is not an original idea, this was taken from the internet)

Small haul

So it actually wasn't intentional that the color theme was red and pink...it just kind of happened that way. Enjoy!

So these first two things I got are Ralph Lauren #2 products. Can I just say this fragrance smells amazing! I heard about this fragrance through someone's monthly favorites on YouTube (but can't think of who) and I went to Sephora to go check it out. Totally hooked. It has a very sweet smell but not something that is over powering. Definitely one of my favorite fruity smells since I bought BCBG Maxazria

Next up...another E.O.S balm! That's right the collection is STILL growing. New pomegranate raspberry.

This set I actually found in one of the last places I would expect to look for nail tools, Urban Outfitters. So the only reason I say that is because I never shop at their store (at least not for clothes) so if I do it's for their little random gag gifts. This set of nail tools was only $10.

Speaking of randoms from U.O. I found this little...phone "decoppin" (as they call it) at their store. I originally wanted a cat but they didn't have it. And since iPhone's are the only ones with cool cases, I have to find ways to decorate my droid. And yes, this is VERY Asian.

And lastly, two nail polishes from China Glaze. In "Shocking Pink" and "Ruby Pumps."

Eye make up

Using the new Cruella De Vil palette from E.L.F I was able to create this day time smokey brown look. Gel eyeliner for my top lash line by Maybelline Eye Studio (I think) in black and Maybelline's "Illegal Lenth" mascara.

New stuff

Essie's "Penny Talk" $8, a really pretty metallic/rose gold polish.

Limited Edition palette from E.L.F and their Disney collection, $10. There are two more palettes I still need to find.

Limited Edition "Baby Lips" flavors. I think there are 3-4 total. I only picked up two.

New Maybelline "Colossal Cat Eyes Regard Felin Volume Express" mascara. You guys know how much I love my mascaras, especially by Maybelline. Cannot wait to try this one out!

NYC haul

I had an amazing time in New York! I only went for the day but found things I have been looking for. I also got to listen to a concert in Central Park but I'll talk about that at the end.

First off is my cross bracelet. I have been looking for one of these for a while now, especially because I've seen a few girls on YouTube have one. I didn't want to order it online just because of shipping and such so I was so happy to find this at the local jewelry store just outside of Times Square.

Next is my "Matt" bracelet. It's so cheesy but I wanted to make one. I wish the strap was a little thicker but I also like how it's not in your face noticeable either.

Next are these phone charms made of beads. The first is a turtle and the other is a little dog. I'm not sure if I'm going to use these yet because I don't want them to break.

This is from a guy off the streets, I think he was using spray paint and other tools to create this but I've never bought art off someone in New York before and really liked this so I figured why not!

Well my main reason for being excited about NY shopping was for make up. While in Macy's I was sucked into getting a mini make over with these products by Sue Devitt. These products are suppose to be a lot healthier for your skin and while it covers up and such, it also helps treat blemishes. Long story short, I bought these two products; concealer stick and liquid foundation. Because they're really expensive I think I'm only going to use them for really special occasions.

Lastly is my purse from Forever 21. I've really been trying to find a new, medium sized purse to use because the everyday, black one I have now is kind of breaking. Once I saw this at the store, I just had to have it.

I had a really fun time in NYC. The bus ride there and back was terrible however just because I guess there was construction so the roads were terrible. But the weather was amazing and I was able to do so much! And like I said, I saw a concert, well sort of. It was Steve Angelo's "Size Matters" concert in Central Park. We didn't have tickets so we stood behind the stands and were able to listen to the concert for about an hour. It was pretty cool
