February Favorites!

Foundation/Primers. I've been using these for a while now but since this is my first review I decided to add these.
First off is my "Fit me" pressed powder. I use this one every day and I think it works really well.
Next is my Maybelline "Super Stay" concealer. I don't use this as much but it works for my under eye circles.
Lastly is my Urban Decay primer potion in "Original." Love this product and use it every day!...I need to get a new one as soon as Lent is over.

Eyeshadows:
First is the Maybelline trio in "Rose Revolution" and the second is "Neutral Liaisons." I love these cream eye shadows for an easy every day look!...I apply these with my fingers and it's just so easy if I feel lazy in the morning or want just a hint of color for the day.
Next is my NYX trio...absolutly LOVE this for a smoky look. Again this is really nice for an every day look and is really easy. The colors are not as harsh for a smoky look but still gives off the effect, definitely don't regret buying this trio.

My eyeliners:
I've been using Clinique's cream eye liner for my upper lid and Revlon's colorstay crayon eye liner for my lower lines for a longg time now. I love these and use them every day.

Mascaras:
Maybelline's "Illegal length" okay, for me, this totally works! It doesn't give much volume but it really holds my curl and makes my lashes look really nice.
Revlon's "PhotoReady 3D Volume" this one is really nice too and holds my curl and adds a bit of volume, I definitely reach for either of these mascaras every day.
Lip products:
L'oreal Paris' "Balm" and Revlon's Lip butters...AMAZING! After putting on a lip balm I put either of these on for extra color or shine. Really moisturizing and just love these.
Maybelline's "Baby lips" this is the only one that I have but I use this a lot too for an every day lip balm.
And lastly, Smith's "Strawberry" lip balm. Though I just bought this not too long ago, I absolutely love this and how well it moisturizes.

Helpp...E.O.S addiction is killing me!!

Okayy...anyone reading this, I don't care if you are a friend, family member, co-worker, whoever I talk to...please help me out! Well, as you all know I can't buy any make up products during Lent this year soo it would be AMAZING if one of you surprised me with the "Passion Fruit" (light purple) and/or "Tangerine" (orange) E.O.S lip balms! I've heard the Tangerine one is at Wegmans and the Passion fruit is only sold in packs/online?? I'll love you forever and take you out to eat!...Please help me finish my collection! <333

Tuesday Feb. 28

Soo today actually wasn't so bad. Had my religion class and then my education class (the one I dread the most) and it was a pretty laid back day. I also went shopping during my break because we just got paid today. Spent almost $200 :x (but it wasn't on make up!). I got three nice shirts that I can wear for my volunteering, new work pants, a laid back/off the shoulder shirt that I can probably pair with yoga pants or something and a BUNCH of accessories!! :)

I was thinking about posting pictures of the accessories but I'm feeling lazy right now so maybe later...we'll see. But what I did want to talk about is how I went to The Icing and found out they sell a magnetic nail polish there. Uh HELLO?! Why didn't anyone tell me?? First off, even though the bottle looks smaller than the Sephora's "Nail Inc" one it's the same 33oz amount. Second, it has not one, but TWO different designs on the cap and three...it's ONLY $9!!! What the heck. I paid $16 each for the two I got at Sephora. Well anyway. I picked up the teal one at the Icing because the lady helped convince me. She told me it'd go great for St. Patrick's day coming up and I was already borderline getting it so whatever, I was already on a shopping spree right?...And knowing me, I'll be back for more colors...

Well, I'm not sure if I'm looking forward to the next few days, a few of my managers are leaving and we will have basically a whole new team of managers...ehh. So we'll see how all that works out. We also have a new menu rollout/staff meeting this weekend. Should be "fun"...just gotta study up so my team captain doesn't kill me :)

Feb. 25th weekend

So I went up to New York City this Saturday, just for the day and it was really amazing! I went for a school trip to see some of the museums and then had half of the day to explore the big city. It was really cold and even snowed on and off but I sucked it up because...well it's New York! Saw Times Square, went to the M&M store, and "World's Largest Macy's" and had a really great time with the group I was with. I'm hoping to go back soon, maybe for a weekend because I wanted to visit someone there but we'll seee.

Also I'm really happy for my manager, Stephen, for getting promoted this weekend. Sorry I couldn't be there but I'm happy you're moving up, just don't leave us!! :/

And also Happy Birthday (again) to my friend, Chris. Can't wait to party together!! :)

Ummm...what?

So, I have decided to give up buying make up, for Lent this year...this is very upsetting but probably best for me. Which means I won't be (or shouldn't be) posting anything new in the next 40 days! Sooo...instead I will be posting reviews about the products I have gotten over the last couple weeks/months, which is a lot so that should be able to keep me busy in the mean time. And also updated pics of my collection as it stands now and more favorites!

That stuff aside I have a little over 300 views for this blog so I wanted to thank you guys for viewing my page, I know it's not a lot but it's still a high number to me so thank you for the support. Also special thanks to my co-workers who "Catch up with me" weekly!...I really appreciate it! :)

Ulta/Target Haul

So, I decided to pick up a new eye lash curler, this one is by Tweezerman...$12.50. I've used this a couple times now and I really like it so far. This is just the "Classic lash curler."

Nyx eye liner...$5.99. This is another crayon eye liner and you guys know I love my Revlon crayon eye liners but I decided to try one from a different brand.

Nyx eye shadow trio in "Rock and Roll"...$7.99. I just thought these were really nice colors for an every day look that can be smoked out (neutral smokey eyes have been my favorite lately).

O.M.G!!!...Okay so from my last post you guys saw I got this E.O.S lotion in Cucumber (the green one), once I saw these two I just HAD to get them!...Actually I got back ups as well because well...I'm obsessed. These were $3.99 each. Blue one is just "Every day hand lotion"...no real scent unfortunately, and the pink one is "Berry Blossom."

From Target
So...this is really Asian of me but in my defense I grew up with Hello Kitty before it even became this popular here...so whatever. Anyway, I saw this and had to pick it up because I thought it was really cute! These are Clean and Clear's blotting sheets (which I will probably never use)...$4.50.

Another item that's not really new is Maybelline's gel liner in "Eggplant"...don't remember the price, I think it was around $7-8. I use purple eye shadow a lot so I figured I might as well try a purple liner.

Another item that's not really new is Maybelline's "Colossal" mascara, again I don't remember the price, I think this was $6-7 but I had a coupon so I wanted to try this.

And lastly, Maybelline's "Color Tattoo cream eye shadows...$4-5 each? Top one is "Audacious Asphalt," lower left is "Pomegranate Punk," and lower right is "Bad to the Bronze." I really wanted the "Tenacious teal" and purple ones but once I saw those in person they looked really bright, so I decided to go with more neutral/every day colors. I use Maybelline's cream eye shadow trios a lot now so I hope I like these products too.

Make up aside, work has been absolutely crazy!!...But on the bright side I've made/saved a good amount of money so I can do a little bit of shopping in New York, can't wait! Oh and this is a little shout out for BG since they won't stop bugging me about when I'm going to post something for them. Hope you're happy now, haha :)

I finally found an ULTA near me!

Only picked up five things and signed up for their rewards program, in my opinion much better than Sephora...for every dollar spent it's 4 points...however, they expire in June (I don't think Sephora's expire?).

First off...E.O.S hand lotion!!!...You guys know me and my EOS addiction...I have been looking for this lotion everywhere and Ulta is the ONLY place I've seen it. Cucumber sent...$3.99. You guys have no idea how excited I was for this...

L'oreal Paris' Lip Balm in "Pink Satin"...$7.99. I've seen reviews of this on YouTube and was hesitant about it but decided to try one out, this one did not have much of a color tint to it, but that's one of the things I heard about this lip product. In my opinion I still love Revlon's Lip Butters but these are the same price so either one will do. They are pretty moisturizing though!

First Nyx product. (Crayon) Eyeliner in Silver...$4.49. I love crayon eyeliners and have slowly been venturing out with new colors...silver is pretty bold so I'm hoping to make this work nicely.

Benefit's "They're real" mascara in "Jet Black"...$22. I tried so hard not to buy this at Sephora but couldn't resist it at Ulta. I figured I was already there so why not?! Not much to say about this, it's suppose to be an amazing mascara so I will have a review on it soon.

Tarte Bronzer and Blush set (my first Tarte products)...$15. This was definitely an impulse buy. I never use bronzers or blushes but figured I would pick this up just to have it...sad, I know. Bronzer is in "Park Ave Princess" and the blush is in "Dollface." If I ever use these soon I'll have the reviews posted.

Lastly, more L'oreal polishes...again these are around $6 each. From left to right "Butterfly Kisses," "Versailles Romance," and "Greycian Goddess." I still have yet to use these because I still have on my Valentine's Day nail design...which I love. But I'll hopefully have reviews on these soon too!

That's all for now...my make up collection has definitely grown since my first post of my collection (about a month or two ago) sooo, I am planning on doing updated pics some time in the next few weeks...I need bigger containers! x_x. And obviously reviews on my new products and eventually starting up monthly "Hits and Misses."

Better Valentine's Day nails...Crackle colors came out nicer

Some Sephora/Target/Spoiling myself for Valentine's Day!

Tokidoki palette, on sale for $19, at Sephora. Because I couldn't find this little dog in the quad palette I just had to get him with this palette. I'm not so sure I'll use these colors often but I'm sure I can do something with them.

Another Tokidoki quad...$19. This one is Adios, LOVE the smokey colors. I still have yet to use this quad but the colors in person are beautiful...especially because I love smokey eye make up!

Now for the items from Target!
More lashes...I still don't use fake lashes but I did try my previous ones (#110) and they are pretty much the same length as my natural lashes so I decided to pick this up because...well it was on sale and the size I wanted to try. This is the Ardell brand and it was on sale for $2.98

Sonia Kashuk nail polish in "Smoke and mirrors" #10. I've never tried this brand before but it looked like a really nice silver. $4.99

L'oreal's nail polishes...$4.99 each. These are from their new line (no idea what the name of it is) but I've had my eye on these for a couple weeks now and saw a review on youtube so I decided to pick up a few colors. From left to right; "Stroke of midnight (#570)," "Violet Vixen (#500)," and "Paparazzi Pleaser (#510)." The two on the end are matte colors and look amazing!...Can't wait to use them.

Last but not least, Revlon's PhotoReady foundation...$10.49 (thankfully I had a coupon for $2 off...still crazy though!). I've watched some youtube reviews on this and saw that it was a good product, I had the coupon so I figured I'd get one for myself. This is #05...not sure if it's the right color for me.

**Reviews for all these products will be coming soon**
